Enjoy an afternoon of creating Christmas decorations inspired by 18th century seasonal decor and crafts. We will be cutting paper ornaments, making orange pomanders, folding paper Moravian stars, and stringing cranberries and popcorn. We’ll also chat about how people decorated their homes in the winter in the 1700s and give you some inspiration for other things you can do to create an early American look at home.
This is a multi-generational event for both adults and for children (recommended age 8 and up). All children must be accompanied by an adult.
$5 per person to cover crafting supplies pay at the door.
Pre-registration is required for this event as space is limited. Please register either by calling the museum 570-746-3979 or by using this link. Christmas Craft Workshop Registration Google Form
