Our Collection

The Wyalusing Valley Museum covers the same geographic area as the Wyalusing Area School District.

This includes Albany, Herrick, Overton, Terry, Tuscarora, Stevens, Wyalusing and Wilmot Townships as well as Wyalusing and New Albany Borough in Bradford County and Braintrim and Windham Townships and Laceyville Borough in Wyoming County.

Our collection ranges in time from ancient Native American stone tools to 21st century archives. We have a good collection of photographs from the 1880-1950 period, as well as manuscript materials, advertising ephemera from local businesses, household artifacts, farm tools, and more.

If you are interested in doing research within our collections, please contact the curator to learn more about what is available or to make an appointment.

The museum is moving!

Thanks to the generous support of our community we have purchased a new building. In the meantime visit our temporary exhibit in the Lodge Hall Annex on Church Street!
