The 1920s was the era of jazz, art deco, and prohibition. Women’s clothing went down a particularly interesting avenue, influenced by the new motion picture industry, the discovery of King Tut’s tomb and the women’s suffrage movement. Curator Morgan Clinton will be giving a talk about the clothing and accessories popular in the 1920s.
