Ring in 2020 Prohibition Style!
Are you ready to celebrate (almost) 100 years since, prohibition style? Well we are! Come celebrate with the Wyalusing Valley Museum at St. Agnes’ JFK Hall in Towanda this NYE! The party starts at 6:00 p.m. with some hors d’oevres from the era provided by Villa Sena to a backdrop of Jazz Age music. A buffet dinner will be catered by the Wyalusing Hotel with a champagne toast at midnight (and some spiked cocktails in between, shhhh!). There will be lots of dancing as DJs from Raymond Phillips Sight and Sound play your favorite tunes from more recent years. All for $75 a person! Did we mention shuttle services will be provided to local hotels to and from the event? So, ladies bring your best flappers’ gear, and men, your best fedora!
Ahhhh…a little party never killed nobody…Must be 21 to participate!
Don’t forget your checkbook, some local businesses have donated some fabulous silent auction items for you to bid on. We are also raffling off a decorative sleigh full of wine and beer. If you bring a bottle of wine or a six-pack of beer to donate to the sleigh you get a free raffle ticket. Additional tickets will be $10 each.
All proceeds will benefit the Museum’s “Move to Main Street Campaign”
