Museum News2 women standing outside the Wyalusing, PA train station in the 1920's

The 1920s was the era of jazz, art deco, and prohibition. Women’s clothing went down a particularly interesting avenue, influenced by the new motion picture industry, the discovery of King Tut’s tomb and the women’s suffrage movement. Curator Morgan Clinton will be giving a talk about the clothing and accessories popular in the 1920s on Saturday Nov. 2 at 2:00 in the afternoon. The lecture will take place in the TW Room at the Wyalusing Community Corp. Building on Main Street in Wyalusing (across the street from the museum’s 25 Main Street building). Light refreshments will be served. There is no fee for this event, but we will have a donation jar at the door.
